- Other candidates: Minimum 50% marks
- Plus B.Ed./3-year Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed./2-year B.Ed. (Special Education) from an NCTE-recognized institution.
OR
- Four-year Integrated B.Sc. B.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as subjects and the same minimum marks criteria.
- Must have passed the Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET).
