We are pleased to inform you about the upcoming OAV/OMAV Entrance Test 2024, and provide you with essential details regarding the admit card download and examination guidelines.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Reporting Time:
    • Candidates are required to enter the examination hall at least 1 hour and 15 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
  2. Admit Card:
    • It is mandatory to bring the Admit Card to the examination center.
  3. Electronic Devices:
    • Candidates are strictly prohibited from bringing any electronic devices such as cell phones, calculators, log tables, cameras, etc., except for a blue/black ballpoint pen.
  4. Behavior and Discipline:
    • Candidates should conduct themselves respectfully with the Center Superintendent, Deputy Center Superintendent, Observer, Invigilators, and fellow candidates.
    • Maintaining discipline in the examination hall is crucial, and any violation may fall under the jurisdiction of the Odisha Conduct of Examination Act 1988.
  5. Search Procedure:
    • All candidates are subject to thorough search at the entrance and inside the examination hall when required.
  6. Restricted Movement:
    • Candidates are not allowed to leave the examination hall during the first and last 20 minutes of the examination.

RULES TO BE FOLLOWED IN THE EXAMINATION HALL:

  1. Temporary Exit:
    • Candidates may be permitted to leave the hall temporarily on emergency grounds after one hour, but they must deposit the question paper and OMR answer sheet with the Invigilator.
  2. Seat Exit:
    • Candidates should not leave their seats finally until they submit the OMR answer sheet to the Invigilator.
  3. Re-entry Restriction:
    • No candidate will be allowed to re-enter the examination hall if they have left after handing over the OMR answer sheet.
  4. Communication Prohibition:
    • Candidates are not allowed to talk to each other in the examination hall.
  5. No Assistance:
    • No candidate should receive help from or assist others in the examination hall.
  6. Preservation of Materials:
    • Candidates should not tear or mutilate any OMR answer sheet or question paper.
  7. Prohibited Materials:
    • Candidates should neither possess nor use any incriminating materials in the examination hall.
  8. Admit Card Signature:
    • Candidates are required to sign the admit card in the space provided in the presence of the invigilator.

RULES FOR WRITING ON THE ANSWER SHEET:

  • Follow the instructions mentioned in the answer sheet and question booklet.

RULES FOR PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED (PH) CANDIDATES:

  • PH candidates not able to read and/or write will be provided with a scribe. These candidates must report to the Centre Superintendent four days prior to the examination date with the original PH certificate, Admit card, and an application requesting a scribe. However, candidates have the discretion to obtain their own scribe.
