Lady Matrons will be posted in ST/SC Girls Hostels of various educational institutions in Malkangiri district.

Who Can Apply:
- Married women aged 30 years or above (as of 1st January 2024).
- Educational Qualifications for Lady Matron Recruitment 2024:
- 1st preference for Graduates.
- If no graduates are available, candidates with +2 (Higher Secondary) will be considered.
- Special Preference:
- Widows get 1st priority, divorcees get 2nd priority, and women from single-member families get 3rd priority.
- Category Preference:
- 1st preference to ST candidates, 2nd to SC, and 3rd to SEBC.
- Candidates from the same village, GP, or Block get additional priority.
Selection Process:
- District Level Selection Committee will handle the entire process.
- Selection will be based on marks and experience.
- Previous experience in hotel management, nutrition, or arts is desirable.
Important Guidelines:
The Lady Matron will be responsible for managing daily hostel operations and taking care of the students. Initially, this position is for 1 year and is renewable based on performance. The selected candidates will not be eligible for any regularization of service.
