Application Fee
- General Category Candidates: The application fee for RRB NTPC is ₹500, of which ₹400 will be refunded (after deducting bank charges) upon attending the 1st Stage CBT.
- Reserved Category Candidates: Candidates belonging to SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Transgender, Minorities, or Economically Backward Class (EBC) will pay a fee of ₹250, which will also be refunded (minus applicable bank charges) upon attending the 1st Stage CBT.
- Payment Method: Payments can be made online using internet banking, debit/credit cards, or UPI.
- Note: Refunds of the examination fee will only be issued to candidates who appear for the CBT.

Age Limit for RRB NTPC Candidates (as of January 1, 2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 36 Years
- For UR & EWS: Born on or after January 2, 1989
- For OBC-Non Creamy Layer: Born on or after January 2, 1986
- For SC/ST: Born on or after January 2, 1984
- All Categories: Born on or before January 1, 2007
- Age Relaxation: Applicable as per rules.
Qualification for RRB NTPC Positions
- Candidates must possess a degree from a recognized university or its equivalent.
- For positions such as Junior Accounts Assistant Cum Typist and Senior Clerk Cum Typist, typing proficiency in English/Hindi on a computer is essential.
